BP and that twotty kid Barack Obama

I haven't written for a while and god forbid that it should be BP that makes me start again but this disaster in the Gulf has grown out of proportion. It niggles at me daily and whilst I am not a great fan of the likes of BP, I am less of a fan of Barack Obama who is acting like a child over this problem ("I'm gonna kick their ass" is what kids say in the play ground).

Okay, so BP was at the helm when an oil well blew. It has accepted responsibility for the ecological and financial disaster that has resulted but most of all is doing everything in its power to fix the leak. The American politicians in true form are looking for a scape-goat before the disaster has even been solved, are threatening criminal charges before the dust has even settled and are basically posturing and mouthing-off; acts that scream of cover-ups and politicizing that impede BP when they need to concentrate like never before.

Enough is enough. When Barack Obama mouths off the shares drop like lead weights. The executives of BP are forced to attend senate hearings when they should be in the bunkers fighting fire with fire. Tony Hayward is constantly ripped apart and demeaned at every opportunity when he should be left to command.

Exon Mobile has recently been spewing out chemicals at a Nigerian Oil field. See here. Niger Delta Environmental Activists Accuse Exxon Mobil of Worse Oil Pollution in Nigeria Than BP 's In The Gulf Of Mexico Little is made of this in the media! What about Union Carbide and Bhopal were they have killed over 25000 people yet here we are today with an outright and seemingly personal attack against BP when far worse has and is currently been conducted by those doing the screaming.

Little mention is made of that American company called Transocean whose rig and crews were operating the field. Little is said of that other American company called Haliburtons whose equipment failed. Little is said of the lives lost on the rig when this disaster happened. And very little is said about the sub-prime crisis, the banking crisis and the likes of Bernard Madoff, all of which destroyed lives an caused mayhem throughout the world on a far larger scale than BP is currently accused of. Did any American give financial support to all the families that lost loved ones in the Piper Alpha disaster in the North Sea?

Dear Mr Cameron. I would be grateful if you could pull those troops out of Afghanistan, sell the American Assets of BP to some Chinese outfit, close those American bases in the UK and lets be happier. If this is globilization then we can well do without it.
